It is rare to have a powerful books series that is written by a women, with a strong leading character that is a women. Even more rare is to have that book series go on to become a television series that has amazing women directing, writing, producing, and on the crew but Outlander on STARZ has done just that. Not only has Outlander done it, but done it well, and these women are being noticed. This year not one but four of the lasses working on Outlander are up for nominations with the 2015 Women’s Image Network Awards that will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
