One of the greatest mysteries for fans of Outlander was the quick disappearance of Lord John Grey (played by David Berry) and resolution of the fake fiancé scenario (though I don’t think any of us complained when Roger reappeared). Though we did not have that closure on screen, neither did David or Sophie (Brianna). In lieu of this, David Berry did a very cool thing – he wrote a letter to Brianna as John Grey. Though Sophie joked around about how the letter was sent to her by email rather than period-appropriate methods, she graciously shared it with Entertainment Weekly to help us all survive the months until season five drops.
