The first trailer for season five of Outlander debuted during their New York Comic Con panel this evening. Below is the trailer, plus screenshots below the videos.
What excites you the most about this trailer? Is it the upgrade on wigs? Ha ha. No, but seriously, I enjoyed finally seeing “The Big House” in all its glory and it is heavily featured throughout the trailer. In this trailer, the brief appearance of Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) casts him in a devious shadow, being present for the tar and feathering of a man. The trailer focuses mostly on Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan), Brianna (Sophie Skelton), and Roger (Richard Rankin). We do see a brief appearance of Gerald Forbes (Billy Boyd) as he watches a fight and a tired John Quincy Myers (Kyle Rees) sitting next to Lord John Grey (David Berry). We really have not had any major cast announcements, so any new faces in this trailer that are of note are a mystery right now.
Outlander season five premieres February 16, 2020, on Starz.
