It’s been a whirlwind week in the world of Outlander in regards to casting news. Earlier this week, Starz announced three new cast members, and today, they announced four more actors.
Jon Tarcy plays Isaiah Morton in season five. According to Outlander Wiki:
“Isaiah Morton is a bigamist from Granite Falls who served in Jamie Fraser’s militia in 1770 and 1771.
He is short and pudgy.”
Well, I don’t think the physical descriptors are going to match up with Jon Tarcy. Jon has appeared in other television projects like Stan Lee’s Lucky Man, The Sound of Music, and Life in Black.

Ned Dennehy plays Lionel Brown in season five. According to Outlander Wiki:
“Lionel Brown is a resident of Brownsville, and the brother of Richard Brown and Thomasina Brown.
Lionel and his brother Richard have both been a source of trouble for the Fraser family since their first encounter in The Fiery Cross when the brothers attempt to kill (someone, it’s a spoiler) a member of Jamie Fraser’s militia.
Described as a scrawny man with a straggling beard. Lionel, like his brother, has a spare, almost gangly build, with hair the color of dried tobacco. Lionel is slightly taller than Richard.”
Ned has appeared in other notable television series such as Good Omens, Dublin Murders, Peaky Blinders, Glitch, and Versailles.

Chris Larkin plays Richard Brown in season five. According to Outlander Wiki:
“Richard Brown is a resident of Brownsville, and the brother of Lionel Brown and Thomasina Brown.
Richard and his brother Lionel have both been a source of trouble for the Fraser family since their first encounter in 1770, when the brothers attempt to kill (someone, it’s a spoiler), a member of Jamie Fraser’s militia.
Richard Brown, like his brother, has a spare, almost gangly build, with hair the color of dried tobacco. Richard is slightly shorter than Lionel.”
Chris Larkin has also starred in well-known series and films such as Black Sails, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, Endeavour, and Yes, Prime Minister. Chris is also the son of Maggie Smith.

Last but certainly not least, Anna Burnett plays Alicia Brown in season five. According to Outlander Wiki:
“Alicia Brown is the daughter of Lionel Brown and niece of Richard Brown.
Alicia is described as plain, round-jawed and pasty. She has narrow shoulders and broad hips.”

Anna has appeared in both television series and in films such as The Darkest Hour, Ripper Street, The Falling, and Doc Martin.
