Starz presented their line-up of television shows at the winter press tour for the Television Critics Association (TCA) yesterday. Outlander was a part of that line-up and Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, Ronald D. Moore, and Maril Davis were all in attendance.
Videos are not permitted during these panels. The best we can do is share journalists’ live tweets of the panel and share some photos as well. There was an executive session that started off the Starz panels and we have included live tweets from that one as well.
We love to see a #STARZ cast crossover!

Sophie Skelton says that as time travelers, "Claire, Brianna, and Roger have to monitor themselves 100% of the time." They have to constantly be on guard, and they have to be wary of that as actors, too. #TCA20

Are Jamie and Claire still as passionate in S5? Balfe says the circumstances of the season allows them to invest in those intimate moments – they're both in one place a lot of the time. We get to see how they work together as a couple and support each other. #TCA20 #Outlander

Richard Rankin says when we find Roger & Bree at the start of S5, they're happy and life is great. They've got an extended family they very much love, but Rog also feels the pull to go back … #Outlander #TCA20

Heughan says Jamie has always had a father figure in Murtagh – he guided Jamie. For Jamie to break that bond and distance himself from Murtagh to protect the community – it's a tough situation to be in. #Outlander #TCA20

#Outlander #Starz #TCA20 Exec. Prod. #MarilDavis doesn't think there's any more moments where Jamie & Claire will separate because of something one didn't tell the other about like, a lie of omission that upsets the other.
