If you have watched all five seasons of Outlander, you will know that there is a special feature at the end of each episode. This “Inside the World of Outlander” or “Inside the Episode” give viewers some background information on the episode and may include some behind-the-scenes footage. I really love these little videos, especially if they discuss something controversial or a huge plot point from an episode. This feature is glaringly absent from the first episode of season six, and showrunner Matthew B. Roberts explained on Twitter that these were not filmed for season six. He says that he will try to share information in the podcasts that usually are usually covered in these brief videos. He also added that it wasn’t his decision not to film them this season.
